Staying Safe Before and After Your Steamboat Visit
The grass is getting greener and more luscious by the day here at Bella Vista Estate. The pool is ready for swimmers and we are eager to welcome guests back onto the estate. Steamboat Springs has been lucky to have had a very low number of Covid-19 cases. Most of the cases occurred within a retirement community, but through the excellent job of our community leaders, containment has been strong. With services like free testing facilities for people with or without symptoms, Steamboat has made our town very safe to visit.
Of course we want to keep it that way for the safety of visitors and locals alike. This is why we are following the recommended Routt County Guidelines, “The 5 Commitments of Containment” and our own special Covid Protocol. With these safety measures we can help keep guests and local residents safe during and after your visit. Below is a highlight of some of the ways you can enjoy a safe, socially distanced family vacation here in Steamboat Springs this summer.
Follow The 5 Commitments of Containment
We’re asking the entire Bella Vista family, including our property managers and guests, to please respect the “5 Commitments of Containment” before and during their time at the estate. Before traveling to Steamboat Springs be sure to follow these best practices for at least 14 days. Maintain 6 feet of social distance, wash your hands often, and cover your face in public. Most importantly, stay at home if you or anyone in your family has any symptoms of being under the weather.
Bella Vista Staff Following New Covid Protocol
In addition to the 5 Commitments of Containment we have also adopted our own specific Covid Guidelines for cleaning and events. Our staff will be required to wear masks, however you are not required to on our property. For lodging guests, we have implemented an enhanced set of cleaning procedures using EPA-approved disinfectants and linens, towels, and laundry will be washed with an approved set of CDC guidelines. We also have adopted safety procedures for weddings and family events, including hand sanitizing stations at each guest table, and suggested plated dining instead of buffet style meals.
Steamboat Restaurants & Shops Reopen
Steamboat amenities have started to slowly reopen for residents and visitors, including restaurants and shops! Local restaurants are offering limited capacity dine-in and carry out options so you can enjoy a proper family dining experience or take your favorite food back to Bella Vista. The downtown shops are also welcoming the return of visitors to Routt County, but please remember that face coverings are required to enter businesses until further notice.
